Garo Gholdoian
Garo is currently in the process of completing a new speaker design - the brainchild of Jon Lane.
He tells us that now that he has relegated his Theta digital front end to background service, his system tuning tasks have been greatly simplified. He can finally hear the subtle differences between his several power amps.
Until he fired up his Gavia / Triplanar / ZYX, he did not know how much better his Art Audio PX-25 amplifiers were than the rest of the gear in his stable
July, 12, 2006 - Garo updated us with photos and preliminary comments about his new speaker design:
"Check out my single 2.5 way mock-up with the aluminum horn and altec driver, with 3 PHL 6.5 sounds great and we have not begun the tweeking"While he would love to implement horn-loaded bass, the "decorating restrictions" such as they are make this impossible.
