Ed purchased the first Quattro SE we ever made. He had been living with this Quattro SE / EAR phono stage combination in a dual purpose (Audio / Home Theater) system for some three years.

With the acquisition of a Bottlehead Foreplay line stage and Welborne Labs DRD (300b) amplifiers, he was ready to make a break to a dedicated audio room.

The missing link was speakers, and we loaned him a pair of quick 'n dirty open baffle speakers based on Radio Shack (Fostex) drivers. The next day, these photos arrived in our inbox - drywall? We don't need no stinkin' drywall.
